Madness of War
Rockets falling from wounded Screeching sore skies Down to Mother Earth Like huge black birds hugging the ripped Open bellies of smoke filled Cities and villages with still Breathing human lives Waiting to be wiped out In an insane act of madness Fire plums shoot up high in the air with Blinding thick sickening smoke as the Choking aftermath of Exploded bombs which blindly hit Target after target with no own Consciousness where it is heading To enemy bunkers or to a crib of a toddler Who still holds a toy in his tiny Fingers frozen in sudden death In the twisted mass of gray colored Ruins the cry is human Peoples tangled with buckled iron Skeletons of blown out High rises as bizarre mementos in Terrible moment of history The old, the young the sick or The strong with no nationality or faith Just the faceless horror of death which Unites them with a merciless Collective suffering which sounds like The last unforgiving word spoken From an ancient God's mouth of stone And will live in the memory as the Curse of mankind which echoes over The senseless battlefields
